This is Md. Yahia (Present Address: 57/V/6, North Maniknagar, Dhaka) who passed SSC/Equivalent with 18^th Board Stand in 1992, HSC/Equivalent in 1994 in first division with scholarship.

Yahia qualified in BBA Hon’s (Accounting) from Islamic University, Kushtia in 2000 (Held in 2002) and MBA (Accounting) from Islamic University, Kushtia in 2003. He stood First class First in Hon’s Level & Second in Masters Level.

He completed two Banking Diplomas from The Institute of Bankers Bangladesh (IBB) and Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA).

He also completed prestigious Cost and Management Accountant certification from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountant of Bangladesh (ICMAB) on December, 2014. He is an Associate Member of this Institute (Membership No. A-1246).

In professional life, he is now Senior Principal Officer (SPO) of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited. He is currently working as a Financial Analyst of Large Industrial Projects whose limit/exposure is more than Tk.1000.00 million. He worked for hundreds of projects of various sectors like, spinning, garments, edible oil, ceramics, leather, jute, rice, flour, poultry etc.

-   Prepared appraisal report (incorporating Managerial, Marketing, Technical, Financial & Ecological Aspects) and inducted a lot of large investment clients in IBBL (like, Rahimafrooz Accumulators Ltd., Rahimafrooz Globatt Ltd., Globe Edible Oil Ltd., Monno Ceramic Industries Ltd., Monno Jute Stafflers Ltd., Monno Bone China Ltd., Superex Leather Ltd., Oasis Hi Tech Sports Wear Ltd., Diamond Checks Ltd., Minister Hi-Tech Park Ltd., FAMKAM Spinning Mills Ltd., Protein House  Ltd. etc).

-   Prepared projected financial statements of various types of projects (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Change in Equities etc).

-   Analysed various types of financial statements (Ratio Analysis, Comparative Analysis, Common Size Analysis, Trend Analysis etc).

-     Played vital role in sanction of investment in favour of the clients whose exposure is more than 1,000.00 million with Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited.

-      Prepared new format of project appraisal and evaluation in Ms-Excel.

-      Prepared and distributed customer correspondence with strict deadlines.

-     Application of cost and management accounting tools in appraisal and induction of  clients (like, contribution format income statement, theory of constraints, break even  analysis, activity based costing, transfer pricing, segregation of fixed and variable costs  from common costs, process costing, standard costing etc.)

-    Contributed a lot in developing and preparing more decision oriented memos (like, IAC Memo, MC Memo, EC Memo, Board memo etc.).
